FRI AUG 29 and SAT AUG 30 with CONGRATULATIONS

We are looking for a very nice kick off to the Labor Day weekend. FRI AUG 29 will have PLUMP once again at DAN ELECTROS (1031 E. 24th St) in HOUSTON, TX. We have our friends CONGRATULATIONS from Denton, TX who are awesome and also SUPER PANCHO COMBO who we played with a few months back and had a real good time. So this will be a show of epic proportions that should not be missed!!

As a matter of fact, we like playing with CONGRATULATIONS so much we saw fit to make a little weekend out of it. As such, we will be playing the following SAT AUG 30 at ZAPATOS in College Station, which ought to be quite a nice dealio. So people get ready!!

The 2008 Houston Press Music Awards have come and gone. We were nominated again for Best Funk, and from our private unofficial polling and tendencies to cross-examine (for hours and hours) people leaving the voting box, we think we received more votes than ever.

However, we lost, once again, to the Fondue Monks.

PLUMP on FRI AUG 8 with Metal Bands Galore

PLUMP will be playing our first show ever in Pearland, TX at the Drink Station this FRIDAY AUGUST 8. This should be an early, all ages show, so tell everyone you know in Pearland to come check it out. All indications are that it will be several heavy metal bands and PLUMP, so it should definitely be a fun night all the way around.8 PM!!!
